DECA makes it five victories in a row for Elite Stables!

ELITE STABLES impressive win streak is up to five in a row and counting thanks to a dominating performance by DECA at Penn National.  Breaking from post seven of eight DECA was caught wide into the first turn, but the ground loss didn't matter.  Top jockey William Otero sent the son of MT LIVERMORE immediately after the leaders and DECA did the rest drawing off to four and a half length victory.  Trainer Mark Shuman said "DECA is just a goof in the mornings, but he was all business today."

Business has been good for ELITE STABLES .  It was DECA's third career win, and pushed his lifetime earnings to just under $40,000.  More importantly, it keeps the win streak alive as the red hot stable gears up for spring.  Look for DECA to run again at Philadelphia Park in early April.

SWEET ROSEMAN Dominates for 2nd Straight Win

SWEET ROSEMAN, another stakes placed filly in the ELITESTABLES barn, dominated the three-year old fillies at Santa Anita Park today in race 2. Her three and a half length victory in the 6 furlong contest was her second win in only 2 weeks. SWEET ROSEMAN stayed pretty close to the pace but did it with the greatest of ease. She started to make her move at the top of the stretch and easily ran over and past the other fillies. “Victor (Espinoza) put a great ride on her and she made it look easy…….AGAIN!” said Gary Sadowski, Elite Stables’ Director of Racing Operations.

On May 18th SWEET ROSEMAN delivered an equally dominant performance in the six and a half contest at Santa Anita Park. On that day she broke poorly and then rushed to the lead and led every step of the way. Gary Sadowski confidently noted “They could have gone around the track again and they never would have passed her!”

SWEET ROSEMAN has proved to be a versatile and confident runner on the front end or coming from off of the pace. ELITE STABLES looks forward to a repeat performce in her next start.
